It looks like its feet were chopped off. Also gets very hot very quickly when put in the recommended wattage bulb, so we will use a lower watt one I guess. Wanted it for my son't theme room but would be better off buying a plain lamp and glueing a Schleich figurine to it.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

It looks a lot like a T Rex. I put in a red lightbulb to make the bad spirits go away, and they did. I wrote my name on the shade with chalk. My daddy didn't mind.

sweet dreams t-rex

This light provides just the right amount of light by which to read bedtime stories, it is compact enough to not take up the whole surface of the night stand and my son loves the T-Rex.
